Former US President Joe Biden, who suffers from prostate cancer, is undergoing radiotherapy, NBC reported on Saturday, citing the spokesman of the former head of state. Biden was also to undergo hormone therapy.

“As part of his prostate cancer treatment plan, President Biden is currently undergoing radiation and hormone treatments,” NBC quoted a spokeswoman as saying.
The treatment is expected to last about five weeks and is a new stage in Joe Biden's therapy.
Biden will turn 83 in November.
