Hamas has announced that he will begin to release the Israeli hostage from Gaza Monday morning, shortly before the “Peace Summite” begins, where with US President Donald Trump and Egyptian Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi, leaders of approximately twenty countries are expected.

In the Gaza strip, devastated by two years of war, civil defense, first aid organization operating under the Hamas authority, announced on Saturday that over 500,000 relocated people returned to the north of the territory in force on Friday. The Armistice in Gaza actually entered into force on Friday.

The agreement between the parties is based on a plane in twenty points announced at the end of September by Donald Trump. It provides for the release by the Palestinian Islamist Movement, before Monday, at 09:00 GMT (12:00 in Romania), of the 48 remaining, living or dead hosts during the unprecedented attack of Hamas on October 7, 2023, which triggered the war in Gaza.

In contrast, Israel must release 250 “detainees for security reasons”, many of whom convicts for fatal anti-Israeli attacks, and 1,700 Palestinians arrested in the Gaza strip of October 2023.

“You go home”

“According to the signed agreement, the exchange of prisoners should start on Monday morning, as it has been agreed, and there is no news in this regard,” Hamas, a high Hamas, said on Saturday.

“We will continue to shout and fight until everyone returns home,” exclaimed Einav Zangauker, one of the figures of mobilization to return the hostages to Israel, during a meeting at Tel-Aviv. His son, Matan Zangauker, 25 years old, is among the 20 prisoners supposed to be alive.

“You return home,” the American emissary Steve Witkoff, who had gone earlier in Gaza with Donald Trump's son -in -law, and the head of the Israeli army, Eyal Zamir, told Israel.

Peace summit in Egypt, Monday

Egypt confirmed the organization on Monday afternoon at Sharm El-Sheikh, a summit intended for “the conclusion of the war in the Gaza Strip, to strengthen the efforts to establish peace and stability in the Middle East and to open a new page of security and regional stability.”

In addition to Trump and Sissi, in the Egyptian city of the Red Sea, the UN Secretary General, Antonio Getterres, French President Emmanuel Macron and the British forearm Keir Starmer, Italian Giorgia Meloni and Spanish Pedro Sanchez are expected, among others.

The head of the Israeli government, Benjamin Netanyahu, did not give any indication of his participation.

Hamas has announced that he will not participate, one of his leaders, Hossam Badran, underlining France Presse in an interview that he is acting “through Qatarezi and Egyptian mediators.”

The second phase of negotiations will be even more difficult

Badran warned that negotiations for the next phase of the Trump Plan, which provides for the disarmament of its organization, the exile of its fighters and continuing the withdrawal of Israel from Gaza, will be “difficult”.

“The second phase of negotiations requires more complex discussions and will not be as easy as the first phase,” he warned.

“We hope that we will not return (at war), but the Palestinian people and the resistance forces will certainly use (…) all their capabilities to reject the aggression if they are required,” he added.

“The proposed submission of weapons is excluded and is not negotiable,” another Hamas manager, under the cover of anonymity, said on Saturday.

Throughout the strip Gaza, the rescue teams continue to scorch among the ruins in search of the dead, after the withdrawal of Israeli troops behind the agreed lines, while hundreds of thousands of Palestinians return to the north of the territory, often to find only ruins.
