Victor Angelescu, the president and minority shareholder of the Rapid football club, announced that two players are very close to returning to the field, writes digisport.ro on Thursday.
The team from Giulești did not have several of the basic players at their disposal recently. Coach Costel Gâlcă could not use left defender Andrei Borza (20 years old) and winger Drilon Hazrollaj (21 years old) since August after they were injured.
In a telephone intervention on the Fotbal Club show, Victor Angelescu revealed that Andrei Borza and Drilon Hazrollaj have started the easy runs and that they are one step away from being able to play again under the command of Costel Gâlcă.
“Borza started the runs, so did Drilon (no Hazrollaj),” Angelescu said.
In the absence of Borza, who was a definite starter at Rapid, Costel Gâlcă tried Christopher Braun (34 years old), Răzvan Onea (27 years old) and, if necessary, Robert Bădescu (20 years old) in the left flank of the defense.
