A powerful earthquake hits the Philippines. The services warn of a tsunami

“We are working tirelessly to provide assistance to all who need it,” said Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos. Emergency services are monitoring the situation and preparing for possible aftershocks, which – as PHIVOLCS emphasizes – may be numerous.
