President Donald Trump told the Fox News television that, after the first part of the Peace Plan, “You will see how people understand each other and Gaza will be rebuilt ”.
He says it will be a “different world ” and that “The wealth will be spent in Gaza ”, writes BBC.
The US president said that all Israeli hostages will be released soon and that Israel will withdraw his troops on a agreed line.
Hamas confirmed in a statement to conclude the agreement: “Hamas announces an agreement that provides for the conclusion of the war in Gaza, the withdrawal of troops, allowing for aid and an exchange of prisoners”.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the agreement “an important day for Israel” and will summon the government on Thursday to approve it.
The fire termination agreement provides that 250 Palestinian prisoners and 1,700 inhabitants of Gaza held by the Israeli forces from the beginning of the war will be released, according to a Palestinian source.
The Israeli newspaper Haaretz also quoted Israeli sources that declared that the agreement did not specify the names of the Palestinian prisoners.
On Wednesday morning, a Hamas official told the BBC that the list of prisoners he presented to Sharm El-Sheikh mediators included important personalities who performed several life imprisonment for deadly attacks on Israelis.
One of these was Marwan Barghouti, considered by many Palestinians with a potential future president. It is not clear whether its release has been agreed.
“The whole Gaza strip is enjoying”
Reuters reports that the inhabitants of Khan Younis, in the south of the Gaza strip, broke out in cheers after announcing a peace agreement.
“Thank God, today President Trump announced that the war had stopped. We are very happy that the war is over, it is something that brings us joy and we thank our brothers and to all those who have contributed, even by words, to stop the war and the pouring of blood“, Wael Radwan told the news agency.
“Thank God for the cessation of fire, for the end of the bloodshed and the killings. I am not the only happy one – the whole strip Gaza is happy, the whole Arab people, the whole world is happy for ceasing fire and stopping blood. Thank you and much love for those who have been with us ”said Abdul Majeed Rabbo.

The attacks of October 7, 2023 represented for Israel the biggest security disaster in its history.
The balance of the attacks was 1,139 deceased people, including about 700 civilians, about 70 foreigners and 36 children. On that Sabbath day, hundreds of armed men from the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas infiltrated the south of Israel leaving the Gaza Strip. They accidentally killed people on the streets, in houses in several cities and kibbutz or a rave-party.
Israel has played that he will eradicate Hamas from the Gaza strip. The war, however, had a devastating impact on the inhabitants, whole areas being bombed and demolished.
67,160 Palestinians were killed and almost 170,000 injured, according to the figures provided by the Ministry of Health of Gaza. More than half of the deaths are women and children, the ministry said. The Gaza strip is largely in ruins.
