The FC Botoşani team defeated on Monday night, on their own field, with a score of 2-1, the UTA Arad band, in the 12th stage of the championship, after a match with two goals canceled for Aradians, writes News.ro.
The hosts received penalties from the 2nd minute, after George Cîmpanu was fouled by goalkeeper Dejan Iliev, and Mitrov transformed into the 4th minute.
After 7 minutes, Costache equalized for the guests, with a shot inside the box.
In the 25th minute Alin Roman scored, but the goal was canceled for an offside position.
UTA also had a goal canceled, in the 30th minute, at Vali Costache, also for offside, and the hosts replied by Mitrov's huge occasion, from the 48th minute.
Mailat set the final score in the 73rd minute and FC Botosani won the fifth consecutive victory, climbing the first place of the standings, with 25 points.
UTA has 16 points and is in 8th place.
