Context
There are several mandatory inscriptions on Ukrainian banknotes, repeating at all denominations. Among the main ones are the name of the country “Ukrainian”, the name of the issuer is the “National Bank of Ukraine”, the digital denomination of the banknote and its verbal spelling, the signature of the head of the NBU, the year of issue of banknotes, protective elements, as well as the name of the historical person depicted on the banknote.
