If your kettle is covered with a white raid, do not rush to throw it away. There is a way that will remove the scale in 5 minutes. You will not need aggressive products or a hard washcloth. Only what is almost always in the kitchen.
What will be needed:
- Dining vinegar – 1 cup
- Water – 1 cup
- Citric acid (or lemon juice) – at will
- Soft sponge
How to do:
- Mix a glass of vinegar with a glass of water.
- Pour into the kettle and put on the fire.
- Bring to a boil and leave on the stove for 5-10 minutes.
- Remove from heat, cool a little.
- Wipe the inner surface with a sponge, the scale will begin to retreat yourself.
- Rinse the kettle and wipe it dry.
Vinegar is a natural scale solvent. He softens the lime coating and removes it without unnecessary friction. And heating accelerates the process. It works even on a thick layer, if you boil longer.
Do this once every 1-2 weeks, especially if the water in your area is tough. This will keep the kettle clean and accelerate boiling.
