Air alert throughout Ukraine, the Russians attack. Fighter jets, raised by emergency by Poland

Poland, a member of NATO, said he mobilized aircraft Sunday morning to ensure air safety after Russia launched new air attacks on Ukraine, according to Reuters. The officials from the invaded country announced that rockets and drones have hit the LVIV region, near the border with Poland.
“The Polish and allies aircraft operate in our airspace, while the terrestrial and radar recognition systems have been brought to the highest level of training,” said Poland Operational Command in an X post.
NATO members from the eastern flank are in maximum alert after Poland has shot down Russian drones in its airspace in September, and the observation of aerial drones and incursions, including Copenhagen and Munich, led to chaos in European aviation.
Vilnius airport, Lithuania, was closed for several hours during the night, after a series of balloons that were heading to the airport on Saturday evening.
According to the Flighttradar24 flight tracking service, on Sunday morning, commercial flights used the routes usually used when Polish airports Lublin and Rzeszow, located near the border with Ukraine, were closed.
Reuters states that he could not independently verify Flighttradar24.
On the website of the US Aviation Administration, there were no immediate ads regarding possible flight disturbances in Rzeszow and Lublin. However, Eurocontrol, which supervises the control of European air traffic, warned over large delays in the air space managed by Poland due to the “situation in Ukraine”.
Air alert throughout Ukraine
On Sunday morning, at the local time, Ukraine's air forces said that the whole country is under threatening new Russian rocket attacks, after hours of aerial alerts and warnings on drones and rocket attacks.
Andrîi Sadovîi, the mayor of Lviv – a city in western Ukraine, located about 70 km from the border with Poland, said that the missiles were approaching the city after air defense systems were already intensely engaged in rejecting a Russian drone attack.
Witnesses Reuters said that the noise that seemed to be produced by the air defense systems in operation came from all directions.
There was no immediate information on possible damage and there was no statement from Russia.
Both parties have launched air attacks throughout the war, in order to destroy the infrastructure considered crucial for general war efforts, including energy and transport facilities.
