Poles skeptical towards Szymon Hołownia's trip to the UN [SONDAŻ]

Information about the efforts of Hołownia appeared a few days ago – Onet was the first to report that the Polish leader 2050 submitted a formal application. The candidacy of Hołownia has the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which was confirmed by government spokesman Adam Szłapka.
According to Onet sources Hołownia can also count on the President's favor, with whom he has been trying to keep his working relationships since the presidential election. In recent weeks, Karol Nawrocki, a close associate of Jarosław Kaczyński, was also to be involved in the case.

According to the latest SW Research survey for Onet, 45.3 percent respondents believe that the Speaker of the Sejm should not apply for this function. Just 17.6 percent supports this idea, and 37.1 percent There is no opinion.
However, the SW Research survey shows that Polish society does not connect Hołownia directly with this field. According to analysts, The high percentage of the answer “is difficult to say” (37.1 percent) may mean that the topic is not a priority for citizens, but also that the Speaker of the Sejm does not evoke unambiguous associations with migration or humanitarian policy.
The study was conducted by the CAWI method on the SW Panel internet panel on September 30 – October 1, 2025, 824 respondents took part in it, and the sample was representative due to gender, age and size of the place of residence.
