Name scholarships for schoolchildren and students of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will increase

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, it is planned to increase regional personalized scholarships for schoolchildren, students and graduates of regional state professional educational organizations and higher educational institutions. The issue was discussed at the Committee on Education and Culture of the Legislative Assembly.

The bill is the initiative of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov. It is designed to motivate young people to achieve the intellectual, creative and sports fields, as well as support the socio-economic and ethnocultural development of the region.

Thus, the size of the scholarship for students in the programs of basic and secondary general education should grow from 2339 to 5000 rubles. Students of institutions of secondary vocational education will receive 10,000 rubles (it was 6368), and graduates – 20,000 (it was 12 736). For university students in the territory of the region, the amount will increase from 11,047 to 15,000 rubles, for graduates – from 22,049 to 30,000 rubles.

An important feature: the law will enter into force on January 1, 2025, which will recalculate payments. Funding of scholarships is laid down in the regional budget for 2025–2027 in the amount of 14.58 million rubles annually.

The bill will be considered at the first meeting of the autumn session.

We support our children's desire for knowledge, creativity and sports heights, appreciate their achievements. The bill is aimed at creating additional motivation for talented schoolchildren and students, to consolidate promising youth in our region. Name scholarships are both a public recognition of the success of young people and concern for the future of the region. This is an incentive to achieve success in study, scientific activity, in creativity, in sports, ”said Vera Oskina, chairman of the Committee on Education and Culture of the Regional Parliament.
