The prosecutor's office will check the situation with the spill of oil products in the Taimyr district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This was reported in the press service of the supervisory authority.
It was preliminarily established that Taimirinvest LLC under an agreement with the administration was engaged in the liquidation of unauthorized landfills on municipal lands in the Taimyr district.
The municipality did not properly control the place of work, therefore in September, the organization independently went to the lands of unlimited state property, consisting in the register of accumulated harm.
“The company began collecting containers for storing fuel and lubricants for their transportation to the mainland and disposal. During the pressing of the containers, oil products leaked to the soil, ”they told about the incident in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the prosecutor's office.
Employees of the supervisory authority attracted ecologists to verify the sampling of soil in the place of spill. Based on the results of research and the end of the audit, the company’s contribution to soil pollution will be established and a set of response measures is adopted.
Recall that in early summer in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Yenisei River fell diesel fuel from the ship who received a hole. The damage from the accident was estimated at 1.2 billion rubles.
