“The reasons? Lack of financing, plus the small budget! So far, we were able to handle these amounts, but this year, unfortunately, we could do nothing. It was discussed that if there is no need for survival in Liga 1, we will not get anymore.

“Every year, the budget was receiving quite late, which is why we had a team of last places, we managed to access only what was left on the market. Unfortunately, it is with us. It is difficult to receive a correct budget. Being a public law club, until the budget enters, until it is clarified, until the financial distribution on projects is respected …

We do not condemn anyone. This is what happens to us, it happens in basketball ”, people from the volleyball team were revealed. What happened to the lot components?

“They found their teams before the championship is completed. Being Romanian athletes, they had already signed with other teams. Other clubs were able to make them pre-contract, because in us, being of public law, you can not rely on something that is not budgeted.

The club has never been loaded with contracts that cannot be honored, they have always been signed on a solid basis. Unfortunately, this year the budget was insufficient to continue the activity in Liga 1.

We don't know how long we will stay like that. On the volleyball section, only the U13 group remained. The section remains standing, but only for this group. It's a fair decision, no one likes to laugh … Plus the country is going through a financial problem of an economic nature ”, said the sources of the Gazeta from Pitești.
