Lost 323 sample of living viruses, The Minister of Health of the state of Queensland Tim Nichols claims. They disappeared in 2021, but the violation was noticed in 2023.
In almost 100 test tubes there was a Handra virus with 57% mortality. It is transferred with bats, causes bleeding, pulmonary edema, and in some cases – viral meningitis. Samples of Lissavirus, similar to rabies, also disappeared.
