In Russia, on October 1, mandatory marking “honest sign” for sports nutrition will begin to operate.
In Rospotrebnadzor, it was reminded that this marking allows you to track the product of the goods from the manufacturer to the store shelf through the mobile application. The “honest sign” protects buyers from fakes and unsafe products, as well as timely identify unscrupulous participants in the turnover and respond promptly to violations.
The department explained that the marking will be introduced in stages. From October 1, 2025, it is required for all new products, and from March 1, 2026, information from all market participants – manufacturers, importers, distributors and stores should appear in the marking system. The sale of non -marked balances issued and imported before October 1, 2025 will be allowed until September 1, 2026.
“This innovation is designed to change the market for food for athletes for the better. Rospotrebnadzor monitors the turnover of goods to be mandatory labeling, ”the department noted.
