– Today, the Prosecutor General Waldemar Żurek submitted to the Constitutional Tribunal to the Civil Code of this court judge Bogdan Święczkowski – said PG spokeswoman.

According to the PG spokeswoman, in the opinion of the prosecutor conducting the proceedings, the evidence creates sufficiently justified suspicion that Święczkowski, being a public official and performing the duties of a national prosecutor (from June 2020 to July 2021,), directing the execution of the act forbidden by prosecutor Paweł Wilkoszewski exceeded his rights.
As Adamiak pointed out, this was, among others To recommend – without the required authorization – to prosecutor Wilkoszewski conducting control over operational and reconnaissance activities, which were conducted by the CBA against Roman Giertych, who was then conducting the profession of lawyer.
However – as Adamiak pointed out – although this was already exceeding the law, the essence of the case was that Święczkowski was aware that in the CBA materials some of them included information in the secret and lawyer. Recommending Wilkoszewski to carry out an inspection – emphasized PG spokeswoman – Święczkowski led to the disclosure of this information to an unauthorized person. (PAP)
