Krasnoyarsk provider Orion Telecom spoke about the causes of problems in Last weekend. Part of the company's subscribers could face temporary instruments in the Internet: a decrease in speed and delays in access to resources.

According to the provider’s technical specialists, the problem was caused by a failure in the work of external systems – TSPU (technical means of counteract threats) belonging to the main radio frequency center (GRCHC) of the Russian Federation.

TSPU is a large -scale system of the national level, an analogue of the complex “antivirus” for the entire Russian segment of the Internet. Its key task is to ensure cybersecurity: filtering traffic, blocking cyber attacks, unlawful content and other threats in the interests of protecting users and the state. These systems are an obligatory element of telecommunication infrastructure. In moments of their increased load or technical problems on the GRCC side, the Internet traffic of all communication operators can pass through them with delays, which leads to a temporary deterioration in the quality of services for the final subscribers.
