The party had gathered with just over 1500 votes, according to partial results after counting the votes from 97% of the sections in the country and abroad.
The Gold Party of the Republic of Moldova obtained a score almost irrelevance in the parliamentary elections on Sunday: only 0.10%, ie 1565 votes, after counting the votes from 97% of the sections.
This is after a series of contradictory statements made from Bucharest and Chisinau.
The Alliance Party for the Union of Romanians (Aur) announced on Friday that it is withdrawing from the electoral race in the Republic of Moldova. The political formation did not offer a concrete reason, transmitting in a statement that it does not want to fragment “even more vote”.
“We do not want to be accused of getting involved in the business of another state, even if that state is the second Romanian state and must return home immediately!
Subsequently, the President of Gold Moldova Boris Volosatîi, former gold deputy in the Romanian Parliament, held a press statement in which he denied the announcement made from Bucharest.
He stressed that the alliance for the union of Romanians from the Republic of Moldova is an independent party, not a subsidiary of the homonymous party in Romania led by George Simion.
The leader of the Senatorial Group of Gold, Petrișor Peiu, said that Volosatîi's decision was not taken with the support of the Bucharest party and admitted that it was two distinct parties.
“He does what he does in personal name, without the support of Gold Romania. There are two different parties, one registered in the Republic of Moldova, another in Romania. But you should not discuss this aspect,” said, in a reaction for Hotnews, one of the golden leaders, Senator Petrișor Peiu.
Another party, close to gold Romania, has obtained a good score and is close to entering the Moldovan Parliament.
This is the Political Party Democracy (PPDA), which did not cross the threshold of 5% in any poll, although it had begun to grow in the preferences of the voters, and now it has between 5 and 6% in the partial count.
The Democracy Party Home (PPDA) is led by Vasile Costiuc, professor of history and geography. He came visibly on the political scene in Chisinau this year, when Coștiuc became George Simion's Moldovan partner.
The main partner of this party was gold and his leader, George Simion, who campaigned for “Democracy” on Tiktok and other social networks.
