The Mixed 8+1 crew won the gold medal at the Shanghai World Rowing Championship. The tricolor boat drove the race from one end to the other, writes News.ro.

The crew of Magdalena Rusu, Maria Lehaci, Andrada Moroşanu, Florin Lehaci, Florin Arteni, Ciprian Tudosă, Ştefan Berariu, Simona Radiş and Victoria Petreanu was followed by those of Italy and New Zealand.

The 8+1 mixed test was introduced for the first time at the CM.

The 6th place was occupied in the final of the double mixed (Mix2x) rows of the crew composed of Andrei Cornea and Mădălina Cornea.

Romania obtained two gold medals at the CM in Shanghai and four silver.
