The tourist line “Bucharest City Tour” comes into operation for Monday, at the end of the tourist season. Races with oversized buses are going to leave the Press House daily to Unirii Square.
“The traveling public will be able to use the” Bucharest City Tour “tourist line for a walk through several reference areas of the Capital, starting Monday, 25.08.2025,” the Bucharest Transport Company announced, in a statement quoted by News.ro.
The route and price for tourist buses
On this line will circulate the buses of STB SA, on the route: King Mihai I – “Piata Press” Station, Şos. Pavel Kiseleff, Victoriei Square, Calea Victoriei, United Nations Bd., Freedom Bd., Unirii Blvd, IC Brătianu Bd., Nicolae Bălcescu Boulevard, General Gheorghe Magheru, Roman Square, Lascăr Catargiu, Victoriei Square, Bd. Aviatorilor Bd. King Mihai I – the station “Piata Press.

The buses will travel daily, with the first departure from the “Piata Press” station at 10.00, and the last – at 10 pm. The buses will have a 30 -minute succession interval.
The price of a ticket is 70 lei for an adult. Children between the ages of 7 and 14 will pay 35 lei, and those up to 7 years benefit from free transport. The travel cards are valid for 24 hours from the time of validation.
Tickets can be purchased from all points of sale STB or directly from the bus, only by bank card to the validator.
According to the Bucharest Bulletin, the six overated tourist buses were purchased in the second hand, in December 2022, for the amount of 428,000 euros, and should have entered the route since May 2023. Due to the political blocking, the buses remained in the outdoor, at the North Bus.
In 2009, the first tourist line in Bucharest was established, and its transport made between 2009 and 2019, 4-6 months/year, with buses rented. Between 2020 and 2022, the tourist line was suspended due to the pandemic, notes Agerpres.
