“Let's talk less about the resignations. What happens is that this government is three months and has taken a number of measures that have been adopted by consensus. It is normal to have dissatisfaction, because when very different people work together, opinion differences appear. It is important that, at the moment, the Government works,” said Nicușor Dan on Sunday.

The president explained that the budget rectification provided will ensure the normal functioning of the state, with an increase of the deficit to 8.4% and an additional 25 billion lei for expenses, and the political consensus regarding these measures is already outlined.

“The most important are two components: the impact on the people-and this exists-but also the financial stability. Here we must always look at the past. Recently, the three big rating agencies have kept the investment recommendation. The measures already taken ensures the stability for 2026. There is a place of reforms, I hope not to mean taxes, but for the point we have this point, we only have this part. stabilized for the current moment ”the president added.

Nicușor Dan clarified and that there is no question of a new VAT increase. Regarding the reduction of the administrative apparatus, the president said that there is a consensus on the need for planned dishes, but the way and pace of implementation will be discussed between the coalition parties.
