Moldovans mobilize and approach 900,000 votes. By 2:00 pm they voted more than the past parliamentary elections / over 110,000 votes come from the diaspora

Over 894,000 Moldovans (30.95%) voted, until 14:00, at today's parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova. Related to this hour, the number is higher than 50,000 compared to the past parliamentary elections, but smaller than the second round of the presidential elections of 2024. One year ago, until 14:00 over 1 million citizens had voted.
Of the 894,772 Moldovans who voted, 117,944 expressed their political option outside the Republic of Moldova, in the Diaspora, according to centralized data from 14:00.

At the past parliamentary elections, from 2021, until 14:00 had voted just over 846,000 people (28.99%). At the latest elections, the second round from Presidential, from 2024, had voted until 14:00 over one million Moldovans, ie 34.57%).
The presence at the vote was lower in the first part of the day, compared to the previous elections. But at 13:00 for the first time the presence at today's vote exceeded the one from the parliamentary elections of 2021.
In the process of voting, the president Maia Sandu sent a message to the Moldovans from the Diaspora, asking him to defend Moldova, by going to vote.
