A St. Petersburg beauty blogger discovered a video camera right in the laser hair removal room. The girl published the entire showdown online – the video received hundreds of comments and more than 10K views in a couple of days. The management of the Laser Pro studio on Bolshevikov Avenue claims that the camera only records sound, but they could not immediately prove this to the girl.
As Tatyana told us, her subscribers complained about video surveillance in treatment rooms – girls are naked right under the camera. The blogger made an appointment, armed herself with her phone and carried out a check: the employee assured that the recording was only audio. After Tatyana’s reasonable request to receive confirmation, she was denied the procedure and documentation. And the conversation with the studio owner ended with the words “we don’t have to prove anything and write to you, all the best.”
We contacted the owner of the salon, Ernest, and he explained everything like this: there is no video recording, and in the studio there is a warning about sound recording in the offices. As proof, the man sent footage of the exact moment when Tatyana came to the session: everything was blurred, there are only audio fragments.
According to the owner, the studio employee did not have access to the admin panel of the cameras to show the video. Ernest noted that the blogger initially came for the sake of conflict and, if she had behaved differently, he would have personally proved everything to her. He added that he was already preparing to go to the prosecutor’s office and write a statement against Tatyana – the studio was already suffering losses because of the video, and subscribers were harassing Ernest and his wife.
