Pieskov about Trump and Ukraine. Do the USA change the strategy?

On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump surprised everyone when, after a meeting and a short conversation with President, Ukrany Wołodymyr Zelanski posted an entry on the Truthsocial social platform. He wrote in it that “after getting acquainted with the military and economic situation of Ukraine and Russia, and after its full understanding and after seeing the economic problems that it results in Russia, I think I think that Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is able to fight and conquer all of Ukraine in its original form“.

The next day, on Wednesday, the US Vice President JD Vance announced that Trump is becoming more and more impatient with the Kremlin's attitude, indicating the lack of appropriate proposals on his part that could accelerate the ending of the conflict.
“The president clearly said that Russia's current position would not help her in the future. This is not a change in our approach, but a recognition of the current realities,” Vance explained to journalists.
The change of tone was quickly recorded in Moscow. The spokesman of the Kremlin Dmitry Pieskow referred to the speech, stating that Russia does not consider Trump's more definite attitude to the intentions of Washington, contrary to the conflict declared by Washington.

“In our opinion, Washington, and especially President Trump, is still determined to support efforts to the peaceful end of the war in Ukraine. We, as Russia, also remain open to negotiations and support similar initiatives” – said Pieskow quoted by the Reuters agency.
Sudden tone change or reaction to a meeting with Zelanski?
Russian commentators, especially those with more nationalist views, point out that The harder rhetoric of Donald Trump may signal the distance to previous efforts to settle the conflict. The Kremlin, in turn, suggests that his statements could have been shaped by a recent meeting with the President of Ukraine.
It is not clear, however, whether the position of the American president will translate into real US policy actions against the war. According to some analysts and European officials, words Trump can be aimed at the leaders of the Old Continent, which he wants to mobilize to support Ukraine more involved – both financially and military.
