The Minister of Labor, Florin Manole, told the first news on Tuesday that a new wage law could be adopted in 2026, which is possible to enter into force. Manole said he has already asked other ministries to designate members in the working group that will elaborate the future normative act.
“We have already asked for colleagues from other relevant ministries to designate our members in a working group. We will have a draft, we will make it public, it will be a long discussion, it will be a serious discussion with unions, patronized, in fact, with the unions of the administration, but it will be a topic in which we will respect the public procedure, It has to happen, “said Labor Minister Florin Manole, quoted by News.ro
Manole said that the law could come into effect next year, but the discussions are still at an early stage.
“We have not yet had the discussion about the budget tire. For now, we started discussions about the basic principles. We will overcome this, we will reach money, it will be extremely important. We will first of all take into account the equity in the system. said Florin Manole.
Regarding the pensions of the magistrates, the Minister of Labor showed confident that the Government project will pass the constitutionality test from the CCR.

“I have no emotion, because I know that the government has done a project with the thought of passing, not with the thought of falling to the Constitutional Court,” said the minister.
According to Manole, “an unfavorable decision of the Constitutional Court would mean for the Ministry of Labor the failure and failure of the milestone regarding pensions and, therefore, the need for a new, quick, emergency effort, to come up with a new proposal to withstand the constitutionality control.”
