The coalition can continue and if Bolojan decides not to continue as prime minister, says PSD senator Daniel Zamfir. The clarification comes after the mayor of PSD Lia Olguța Vasilescu, said that a new executive can be installed in just 3 days in the chair of the prime minister.

Asked if this coalition would survive and without Ilie Bolojan Premier, the senator replied:“I think so. I think no one is irreplaceable, nor Mr. Bolojan, with all the sympathy. The coalition can continue and if Mr. Bolojan decides not to continue as prime minister.”
He also mentioned that a prime minister from PNL would be natural, according to the agreement for the government rotary.

The mayor of Craiova, Lia Olguţa Vasilescu, previously told Digi24 that there will be no crisis in the coalition, in the case of a resignation, because there is a signed protocol, and the PNL will be invited to immediately designate another prime minister. According to the mayor, the procedures can last 3-5 days.
