Regarding extending the ongoing U.S.-Israeli bombing of Iran since February 28 to include a land invasion, Netanyahu said that “there are many possibilities regarding the land component, but I will not share all these possibilities.”

According to the Israeli prime minister, after almost 20 days of war, Iran is “weaker than ever”, while Israel is a regional and “some would say world” power. He announced that the campaign against Iran would continue “as long as necessary,” although he did not specify what that meant. “The United States and Israel protect the entire Middle East — and I dare say the entire world,” he summed up the ongoing war.
