The journey of President Karol Nawrocki to New York to the UN General Assembly turned out to be a background for serious differences in sentences in Polish diplomacy. He announced that Bogdan Klich would not obtain the President's consent for the ambassador nomination. He emphasized that the head of Polish diplomacy should give up this proposal as soon as possible, which – in his opinion – would be beneficial for Polish interests. The presidential minister also noted that despite tensions, cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the operational level is better than at the political level.

“He couldn't find a common language”
Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski responded to the allegations, who on Platform X described such public comments as “unprofessional and harmful” for the Polish foreign service. In his post he asked why PiS still focuses on the person of Klich, despite historical contexts such as the Smolensk disaster, which is assigned to Vladimir Putin. Sikorski also asked President Nawrocki to discipline his colleagues.
Make in, when asked about the lack of cooperation between the Chancellery of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he pointed out to Sikorski's difficulties in establishing an agreement. “There were three heads of the International Policy Office, and no minister Sikorski could find a common language,” said the minister. He also added that, contrary to the words of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Paweł Wroński, there was no tradition of using the presidential aircraft during such travels.
He also strongly criticized the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, accusing the ministry of lack of professionalism when providing correspondence from former President Donald Trump. He explained that the letter was courtesy, referring to positive relations between the leaders of both countries and their potential future contacts.
Nawrocki will talk to Trump?
The possible conversation of Karol Nawrocki with Donald Trump was also the subject of explanations. According to the minister's account, if the President of the Republic of Poland finds time for a longer meeting with the former US president, issues regarding the escalation of Russia's actions in the region will be raised, including a recent violation of the airspace of Estonia. Trump described the only person who is able to realize Vladimir Putin really.
The conversation between President Nawrocki and the Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelanski was also not excluded. The minister pointed out, however, that a possible meeting will probably be a short exchange of kindness.
While Polish diplomacy is measured with internal tensions, Donald Trump emphasized on Saturday that he has not yet received detailed information about the incident in Estonia. However, he pointed to his plans for talks with about 20 foreign leaders, including these meetings as priority activities in New York.
