“All night Ukraine was under the massive attack of Russia. That is why a strong international answer is needed, ”Zelensky believes.

He emphasized that Ukraine proved that it could protect itself and Europe.

“But for a reliable shield, we must act together: strengthen the air defense, increase the supply of weapons, expand sanctions against the Russian military machine and the spheres that finance it. Each restriction of Russia is saved lives. Thanks to everyone who helps and supports us,” Zelensky said.



Context

On the night of September 20, according to the air forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian invaders launched 40 missiles around Ukraine (eight of them are ballistic) and 579 drones. As of 9.00, according to preliminary information, 552 drones, two ballistic missiles and 29 winged ones managed to bring down and suppress.

In the Khmelnitsky region, in particular, a man died as a result of shelling.

According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the wreckage and hits were a total of 20 locations.
