The main character of the film “The Great March” is Ray Garraty, of course from Maine (played by Cooper Hoffman), whose tearful mother takes to the collection before the start. He makes friends with the co -vocalist Pet (in which David Jonsson plays the role), but helps all participants.

The beginning of the film resembles a more school trip – participants joke, talk about everything and nothing, take pictures for the first shot in the head for too free companion, which is described as “will get a ticket”. From now on, they will face not only their physical weakness, but also with a brutal truth: that only one can survive.

Director Francis Lawrence took over the history of the story to the screenknown among others From the equally terrifying vision of the future, namely the “Hunger Games”, where every year young people were subjected to a deadly sample, and only one could win in the definition. However, in contrast to the extensive political context of these previous screenings, in this film the viewer gets rather hints of the destructive nature of power. Watching the movie, it's hard not to resist the impression that both the director and the screenwriter during the photos had a photo album of William Eggelson.

“Great March” is not a movie for a nice Friday screening
