Public conflict between Europa Fm and Realitatea Plus after Nicușor Dan's interview yesterday: “It's illegal!”
Europa FM accuses Realitatea Plus television of having taken over almost the entire interview of the president on the radio station without consent on Thursday, PaginadeMedia writes.
“This show is illegally taken over by Realitatea Plus. Europa FM did not give its consent for the live takeover of the Piaţa Victoriei show from April 16 at 6:20 p.m.,” was the message posted by Europa FM on Thursday evening, while the interview was in full swing.
Realitatea Plus broadcast the interview from 18:20 until 19:19 minutes, one minute before its end on Europa FM. The TV station also aired two commercial breaks in the interview, PaginadeMedia also writes.
The interview given by Nicușor Dan to journalist Sebastian Zachman took place on the very day the latter announced his departure from the Cotidianul website, where he was editor-in-chief, but also from the Prima tv station network.
The CNA recently decided to withdraw the license of the station Realitatea Plus for non-payment of fines from 2024. The Court of Appeal decided in record time to suspend the decision of the CNA, but the institution appealed it.
