He added that these “special” relations between London and Washington “make us safer and stronger over generations”, while indicating the dedication suffered during the wars and long -term double -sided trade cooperation. The king suggested that both countries could “go even further” in terms of economic cooperation than in a trade agreement signed at the beginning of this year.
“Our nations fought and died together for the values that are expensive to us,” said Karol III.
Not mentioning specific wars, whether in Ukraine or the Middle East, he praised the US President for “personal commitment to finding the solutions of some of the most difficult conflicts in the world.”
Finally, the king raised toast for Trump and his wife melana “and for the health, prosperity and happiness of the United States of the United States.”

The US president turned directly to the monarch, saying that he has great respect for him and Great Britain. “It's really one of the greatest honors in my life,” he emphasized. At the same time, he expressed her appreciation for the devotion of the monarch in favor of “preserving the wonderful and unique character of the kingdom.”
Speaking of relations between states, Trump said that “we are like two notes in one chord or two verses in the same poem.” In his opinion, the term “special relations” is not enough to describe the bond connecting both nations.
After the speeches, a dinner began with 160 guests. They inhabited at a 47.3 m long banquet table, which included 139 candles and 1,452 cutlery. Over 100 people serve guests.
The king sits in the middle of the table, between Trump and the Secretary of US State Marco Rubio. Next to the US President, the Princess of Wales sat. On the opposite side of the table there is Queen Kamila between the first Lady of Melania Trump and the Secretary of the US Treasury Scott Bessent, right next to him, Prince William sits.
British Prime Minister Keit Starmer was next to the general director of Blackstone Steve Schwarzman and Jeanette Rubio, wife of US secretary Marco Rubio.
Business representatives, including the General Director of Apple Tim Cook, the president of Nvidia Jensen Huang and Altman from Open AI, take part in the banquet. Rupert Murdoch's media magnate, who was sued by Trump for an article published in “Wall Street Journal”, and a golfer, the winner of the US Masters, Nick Faldo also sit at the table.
Trump is the first leader twice accepted by British monarchs as part of a state visit with a full ceremonial. Trump's first visit took place in 2019 during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
