This summer, a trip abroad went 16 % more than residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory than last year. Interest in the countries of Africa and Asia has increased significantly – 75 % in each direction.
At the same time, Kazakhstan remains the most popular country – both for rest and transplants to the docking flights. Analysts of MegaFon came to such conclusions, having studied the impersonal data of subscribers.
In addition to Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Abkhazia, China and Thailand became in demand, in addition to Kazakhstan. The countries of Asia, especially Vietnam (+1842 % compared to last summer), have shown a significant increase in tourist flow, it is also included in the top 3 along with China and Thailand. Also this summer, residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory more often visited Japan (97 %) and Mongolia (91 %). In Africa, the absolute leader is Egypt, in the top there is also Ethiopia and Morocco, which shows the greatest increase in the number of trips (+650 %). In the Middle East, in addition to Turkey, the Three included the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
In Europe, they often visited Germany, Italy, Serbia and France, but they did not get into the rating on the most noticeable dynamics – it was headed by Bosnia and Herzegovina (+85 %), Finland (+80 %) and Montenegro (+68 %). Almost the entire tourist flow to North America fell on the USA and Cuba (a total of 89 %). As analytics shows, the United States has grown by 50 %, and the cube has fallen by 32 %. At the same time, there is a sharp decrease in the interest of the Krasnoyarsk residents in the countries of South America – immediately by 81 %.
Türkiye, in addition to the status of the main country for relaxing among Russians, is also the most popular place for transit flights: the number of transfers here has grown by almost a third. Istanbul was expected to be the key hub for Russians.
Kazakhstan takes second place in the list of countries for transplantation, but most of the routes through the republic from the Russian Federation to other countries pass through land, and not by air.
China is in third place: in comparison with last summer, they began to transfer to the docking flights by more than 20 % more often. Transit through the UAE remains popular: the country takes fourth place in transplants, their number is growing by 10 %. Serbia confidently holds on the top 5 countries for transfers, but the number of transit trips through the capital of the country of Belgrade fell by 8.5 % by 2024.
Capabilities are rapidly losing popularity as a transit hub for Russians by Qatar: the number of transfers here has been declining three times. Transit through other Middle Eastern countries, such as Kuwait, Jordan, is also reduced by 28 %.
The rest of the Russians abroad became shorter, but they began to fly more often. If in the summer of 2024 the vacation lasted an average of 10 days, then this is 7. At the same time, the number of trips per traveler this summer increased by 6 %.
