The owner of the “Houses of the Raccoon” in the Shushensky district was fined for poor conditions for animals

The owner of the private zoo raccoons in the village of Sizaia Shushensky district was fined after checking the Rosselkhoznadzor. It turned out that animals were kept in improper conditions.

Experts found that animals did not have veterinary services – there was no quarantine, treatment and basic monitoring of their health. For the pets, food standards were not developed, they did not record their condition and feeding regime.

Also, sanitary standards were not respected in the zoo: there was no graph of cleaning and disinfection of the premises. In addition, it turned out that the activity of the zoo was not officially registered.

Based on the results of the audit, the owner issued a fine and order demanding to correct all violations. Now Rosselkhoznadzor controls the fulfillment of these requirements.
