One of the four terminals of the Heathrow airport in London was evacuated on Monday, while firefighters intervened in what emergency services have cataloged as “a possible incident with dangerous materials,” reports Reuters.
Heathrow, the busiest airport in Europe, announced on social networks that terminal 4 was closed while emergency services intervened as a result of the incident and that all other terminals were working normally.
“Specialized teams were sent to evaluate the situation, and Terminal 4 was evacuated from the caution, while the firefighters carried out the operations,” the Fire Brigade from London said on his site, adding that she was first called at 17:01 (16:01 GMT).

Meanwhile, airport officials have announced that terminal 4 was reopened, but did not provide additional details.
The whole airport was closed for almost a day in March, when a huge fire at a nearby electric substance interrupted the power supply, disturbing the program of flights worldwide and blocking thousands of passengers.
