A man from Galati killed his brother in a beating last month in their common home. On September 12, the man was preventively arrested for 30 days, being accused of killing a family member.

The crime took place on August 15, when the man hit his brother with his fists and hair over his body. Two weeks later, on August 28, the victim died in the hospital. He had suffered serious traumatic injuries, writes observer.
According to the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Galați Court of Appeal, the conflict broke out spontaneously, in the common home of the two brothers.
The investigations were done by the prosecutors from Galați with the support of the Criminal Investigation Service within the Galati County Police Inspectorate.
On September 11, the prosecutor ordered the criminal action to be started and the defendant's detention for the crime of murder on a family member.
The next day, on September 12, the prosecutors asked the judge of rights and freedoms within the Galati Court the preventive arrest of the man for a period of 30 days. The request was admitted, and the individual is now in preventive arrest.
