Krasnoyarsk residents were explained by the rules for using new urns for separate garbage collection (video)

In Krasnoyarsk, at public transport stops on large trunk streets, urns were installed for separate waste collection. But, according to the city hall, not all residents throw garbage correctly and, out of habit, do it how it got.

Satp employees said that aboutBlood URN has its own characteristics: “So that the garbage does not mix during transportation, bags of a certain color are used for each type of waste: Yellow – for plastic, green – for glass, red – for other garbage. Workers take out filled packages, tightly tie them and send them to a truck. Next, the waste is taken to the landfill, where on the sorting line they undergo sorting. If the garbage is divided in advance, this process is much faster. But, as you can see, for now not all citizens throw garbage correctly“.

Utilities hope that over time, garbage sorting will become commonplace for all Krasnoyarsk residents and they will be accustomed to this important ecological habit.
