The army of the aggressor country Russia is using new tactics of using drones against Ukraine. Advisor to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Sergei Beskrestnov (Flash) spoke about this on Telegram.
“This time the Shahed are moving along the Belarusian border at a distance of 5-10 km, literally one after another, and in large numbers at once,” he wrote.
In this way, the occupiers are trying to overload the Ukrainian air defense, and then deploy as many UAVs as possible for attacks in the western part of Ukraine.
On May 3, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported about a balloon launched from the territory of Belarus across the Ukrainian border. The defense forces determined that the occupiers were using it as a repeater, amplifying the signal for airborne weapons.
