Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski participated in recent days in the meeting of the heads of diplomacy, the so -called Holy Friday – i.e. France, Germany, Italy, Poland and Spain, as well as Great Britain and the EU – in London. Earlier, Prime Minister Donald Tusk together with the leaders of Germany, France and Great Britain visited Kyiv.

Before the start of Tuesday's meeting, the prime minister thanked the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski for “continuing the effort” related to that Poland was part of the “key group”, among others regarding various types of decisions in the matter of Ukraine.

“Building a format + Weimar Plus + was not easy for obvious reasons, I do not have to explain it” – said the head of government.

“Poland is not the largest European state. And the fact that both at the level of prime ministers and at the level of (…) foreign ministers we have talks in this format, it is the result of a serious game and not everyone, as you guessed, are happy” – he said, adding that it will not mention countries that have “justified expectations, so that they should also be at this table.” Tusk also announced that work in this format – at various levels – will continue.

The prime minister also referred to the reconstruction forum of Ukraine scheduled for July in Rome. “It is not only helping Ukraine, but also great, great businesses. We will be present,” he announced. He also informed that Poland made efforts to make next year's conference to take place in Poland. According to the prime minister, “we are on the right track”.

About the fact that Poland and Ukraine want to submit a request to the G7 countries to make next year's forum of reconstruction of Ukraine to be held in one of the Polish cities, in March, the Minister of Development and Technology Krzysztof Paszyk (PAP) was already informed in March (PAP)
