Czech Republic sent helicopters to Poland to protect against Russian drones


“Our pilots in the near future will protect the Polish airspace,” the report said.




The Czech Republic sent special forces to Poland, the Minister of Defense Yana Chernokhova said on the air of české Televizi.

It is expected that the three Mi-171s will help Poland in protecting its airspace from drones at low altitudes.

In Poland, up to 150 Czech soldiers for up to three months will also be deployed, Chernokhova added.
