A strong fire broke out on Sunday afternoon at the attic of a block in Constanta. A man was found unconscious by rescuers, and nearly 60 people were self-evacuated, after the alarm was given, according to Antena 3 CNN. The smoke was seen from a few kilometers away, and the traffic in the area was blocked.
The fire lit at the attic of the DR 27 block on Soveja Street, in Constanța. Thus, the firefighters had an extremely difficult intervention, because it was carried out throughout it. 56 people have self-evacuated until the arrival of the rescuers.
“The fire started from the front and now came on the face” said a woman, and another said: “All the smoke entered the house. Smoke a lot and burned. The firefighters came late, the police cars were here, but the firefighters came late.”
The firefighters removed from the apartment where a victim broke out. It is about a man who was unconscious and that the doctors transported to Constanța County Hospital. According to the first information, the flames lit, most likely, following a short circuit at the electrical installation of the apartment where the fire owner was found.
According to the quoted source, the firefighters were forced to use the equipment provided: a bus, a self -platform. Also, at the scene of the incident, seven special vehicles for water and foam extinguishing intervention. In addition, the special victims vehicle was sent, as well as several ambulances from the County Ambulance Service or SMURD type ambulances.
The spokesman of ISU Dobrogea, Anamaria Stoica, said that the fire is manifested in the entire attic, built of wood and mineral wool, being accompanied, for this reason, by large smoke releases.
Road traffic was disturbed on Soveja Street, between Barbu Şt. Delavrancea and Baba Novac, CT Bus buses registering delays. Subsequently, the route of the buses on lines 102 and 13 was temporarily diverted on Baba Novac-Aurel Vlaicu Boulevard-Ștefăniță Vodă-Soveja street in both directions, to return to the ordinary route after the fire is liquidated.
