Pentagon announces night bombing of Iran

Hegseth stated outside the Central Command (CENTCOM) headquarters in Tampa, Florida that the army will be “very busy” tonight.
The head of the Pentagon emphasized that the Ministry of Defense is “ready to establish conditions that will ensure the type of agreement expected by President (Donald) Trump.”
He also noted that the planned strikes on Wednesday evening “will be strong” and “key facilities” will be bombed.
As Axios reported, citing two sources, in the afternoon the president met with his national security team to discuss potential new strikes against Iran.
According to sources, one of the options being considered is to conduct a large-scale operation in a short time. Its goal would be to put pressure on Iran to change its position in the negotiations.
At the same time, Qatari mediators held talks with Iranian officials in Tehran on Wednesday to try to restore momentum in the work on an agreement between the US and Iran.
The website's interlocutors said that Trump was upset by the almost two-week wait for Iran's response to the latest American proposal for an agreement.
