Governor Mikhail Kotyukov held a meeting on improving the quality of natural scientific and mathematical education in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Representatives of the executive branch, heads of universities, specialized schools and subjects-subjects of educational institutions of the region took part in the discussion of the topic.
“It is important to decide on the plans of our work to improve the quality of education – we are talking about mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, that is, about those subjects, without a study of which technological sovereignty and technological leadership cannot be achieved. We see the desire of our talented guys to leave the edge of the region, often this is due to the fact that they did not meet the mentor who are ready to follow. I believe that this is a challenge for the entire system of our education – both school and university. Teachers should be able to constantly improve qualifications, adopt advanced pedagogical practices, ”said Mikhail Kotyukov.
Deputy Minister of Education of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Tatyana Gridasova presented the meeting participants in a set of measures to develop mathematical and natural scientific general education in the region until 2030. It is synchronized with the main areas of the integrated plan approved by the Government of the Russian Federation in 2024, and includes specific measures whose purpose is to ensure the development of the scientific and technical potential of youth and the training of qualified specialists for the economy of the territory.
“This is a systematic work that is designed to escort from kindergarten to employment after graduation. Thus, in educational institutions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a network of specialized classes and technical orientation profiles will expand, classes will be held for schoolchildren and teachers with the invitation of scientists and scientists, the number of regional sites for competitions will increase. In addition, the working group proposes to introduce the programs “Smart Vacations”, “Youth University”, “Network School for Teachers”, research profiles and strengthening the system of additional education and extracurricular activities in several directions, ”said Tatyana Gridasova.
The meeting participants discussed in detail a set of measures and expressed their readiness for joint work. During the meeting, teachers submitted their proposals to strengthen the regional standard for improving the quality of education, all of them were accepted for consideration by the working group.
“The best graduates of schools and universities should know that they will achieve success in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. We must build such a system of motivation that both 100 points and talented teachers remain in the region. I need individual work with each student, with each teacher. Our plan is a living, working tool, ”the governor said.
Recall, in accordance with the federal plan, the result of the general work should be an increase to 30 % of the number of teachers of mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology under the age of 35 by 2030, as well as an increase in the number of schoolchildren who study these subjects at an in -depth or profile level – by at least 10 % annually.
The share of graduates who choose the USE exam in profile mathematics and natural-scientific subjects should grow to 35 %.
