The Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), the pro-European group of President Maia Sandu, would obtain about 40% of the votes of those who have already decided with whom to vote in the parliamentary elections on September 28, according to a survey conducted by the International Republican Institute, at the command of the Washington authorities, consulted by Open.
According to the survey, 39% of the respondents decided to go to the ballot box would vote for the step. For the “Patriotic” block, formed by the pro-Russian parties PSRM, PCRM, “Heart of Moldova” and “Viitorul Moldovei”, would vote 22%.
- At the last survey on the parliamentary elections, presented on September 8 by Idata, the “Patriotic” block would have voted by 25.2% of the total voters (without the diaspora and the left of the Dniester) and 36% of the decisive voters to vote. PAS gathers 24.3% of the total voters and 34.7% of the decisive voters to go to the ballot box.
The “Alternative” block would get 10% of the votes.
Other political forces, including “our party”, would not cross the 5% representation threshold for parties and 7% for electoral blocks.
Thus, at the redistribution of mandates, step would get the majority of votes.

The survey was conducted between August 12–27, on a sample of 1,217 respondents. This does not include the voting options of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova in the Transnistrian region and in the diaspora. The error margin is +/- 2.8%.
