Drone raid on Poland. The EU state calls on the Russian ambassador


At night from Tuesday to Wednesday, one of the most serious security incidents in Europe for years. Some of them were shot down by Polish and allied air forces, others fell on the territory of our country.

According to information provided by the authorities, the operation involved both ground defense systems and early warning aircraft, as well as F-35 and F-16 fighters. The Prime Minister announced that this was the first case when the Polish Army decided to directly shoot down drones that violate the airspace. The remains of the machines were found in several places in the eastern and central provinces.
The incident with drones also met with a diplomatic reaction. EU Member States condemned Moscow's actions, indicating them as a serious violation of sovereignty and escalation act against the entire North Atlantic Alliance. In the opinion of many analysts, similar situations may be repeated, especially in the context of the upcoming Russian-Belarusian Military Exercises Zapad-2025.
