On the island of rest in Krasnoyarsk, the upper layer of asphalt was removed. This was reported by the Road Department of Krasnoyarsk.
The fresh coating applied this year was checked by experts. As a result, two of the three samples did not meet the requirements of the quality – insufficient clutch and exceeding the permissible content of air voids were revealed.
Specialists have already removed the upper layer of asphalt in three problem areas: an axial strip in the area of Karamzin Street, 18, the right strip towards the street of the shipbuilding and parking pocket opposite the house 101 on Sudostroynaya Street. The contractor was given the order to eliminate defects at his own expense.
If weather conditions allow, a new coating will be laid already in the next night. All work will be carried out within the framework of warranty obligations, and the quality of the new asphalt will be subjected to additional careful verification.
