As it turned out, the popular sauce contains vitamins K2 and B3, which are able to prevent the development of osteoporosis, cardiovascular diseases and even early dementia.

Experts note that natural soy sauce also helps to reduce the level of harmful cholesterol. However, they emphasize: only a quality product consists exclusively of soybean, wheat, salt and sugar without flavorings and dyes.

For the right choice of sauce, it is recommended to pay attention to the packaging-a glass container is preferable to evaluate the saturation of a dark brown product. Experts also advise distinguishing between light and dark varieties: the first more salty and universal, the latter are thicker and sweeter, ideal for pickling.

Despite the benefit, soy sauce is not recommended for hypertension due to sodium content, but it should be stored in a cool place in a tightly closed bottle.
