On Tuesday, ING Bank Śląski published its new strategy, whose business goals are set until 2035. The main assumptions include increasing the total number of customers to 7.5 million people, compared to 5.1 million in 2024. The number of retail customers is expected to increase to 6.6 million (4.4 million in 2024), and the corporate segment to over 800,000. from 573 thousand in 2024. In mortgage loans, the bank intends to achieve approx. 2.5 times the volume increase from PLN 61 billion in 2024. At the same time, it plans to increase its market share in consumer loans to over 8%. from less than 5 percent in 2024.

During the press conference, the bank's vice president, Marcin Giżycki, announced that the goal is also to increase the acquisition of new customers. As he said, it is currently at 300,000. customers per year, and in the perspective of the strategy it is expected to be approximately 350-380 thousand. He also indicated that the bank plans to reduce the number of customer departures. – Today it is around 150-200 thousand. customers who leave the bank every year for various reasons. We want to reduce this number to 150,000, 100,000 would be great. – said Giżycki.

He also added that the bank is working on introducing a “digital mortgage”. The idea is for the mortgage loan application process to be fully digitized.

The “ING. In the rhythm of life” strategy assumes strengthening the bank's market position in key areas; in the case of ING's business ambitions, it adopted the perspective of 2035. ING Bank Śląski plans that the ROE (return on equity) after MCFH adjustment will be approximately 19 percent, the C/I (cost to revenue) ratio will be approximately 37 percent, and up to 75 percent will go to dividends. net profit.
