In the Ibris survey for “Rz”, the respondents were asked if the constitution should be changed, granting the president more rights at the expense of the prime minister and the government.
- “I strongly agree” and “I rather agree” answered 15.5 percent, i.e. a total of 31 percent.
- There were many more respondents on “no” – a total of 57.7 percent, including “definitely” – as much as 34.7 percent, and “rather” – 23 percent.
- 11.3 percent did not have the opinion.
As the daily emphasizes, divisions on increasing the president's competence are visible even among the supporters of the current opposition, i.e. PiS, the Confederation, the Together Party and the Confederation of the Polish Crown. According to Rzeczpospolita, in their case, 63 percent are in favor of such a solution. respondents, but as much as 35 percent are opposite. In the case of voters of the “against” coalition, there are 87 percent, and “for” only 2 percent.
