Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was shot on Wednesday during an event organized at the Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, the US President Donald Trump said.

“The great, the legendary, Charlie Kirk is dead”Donald Trump said on his social social network, ordering the drapes in Bern throughout the country in his honor.
“No one understood (…) the youth of the United States of America better than Charlie. Everyone loved and admired, especially me, and now it is no longer among us.”added the president, who survived himself to two assassination attempts.
Fan of polemics with students, the 31 -year -old commentator participated in an event on the campus Utah Valley University, in the west of the country, when it was a firearm, according to the University.
Around noon, local time, “A firearm was fired on Charlie Kirk, an invited speaker. He was hit and removed from his body guards.”the University wrote on X.
The attacker is actively sought, said the university authorities, after previously reported an arrest, but without consequences.
A video recording of the incident by circulating on social networks shows Kirk addressing a big outdoor crowd, when a loud noise was heard that rang like a firearm. Kirk can be seen by quickly taking his hand to his neck as he falls from his chair, making the participants run away.
This far -right American controversy was an important character in the Republican billionaire campaign. He led an organization in charge of the election campaign in key states capable of influencing the presidential elections.
